As we move through the year, the PPI team continues to build on the strong foundation laid in February! Last month was all about celebrating employee successes, with shout-outs to some of our amazing team members who help make everything run smoothly. We also saw exciting machinery upgrades and improvements, ensuring we’re always advancing our capabilities. And, of course, our annual sales meeting brought together our sales team to align on goals, share insights, and set the stage for a successful year ahead.

Big shoutout to Roger from Sparta for joining us in Carol Stream as part of our Team Exchange Program! With years of experience under his belt, Roger spent time in extrusion, sharing his expertise, learning from the team here, and bringing a fresh perspective across locations.

If you’ve ever called or visited our Sparta facility, chances are you’ve had the pleasure of speaking with Sharon. While her title may be receptionist, that barely scratches the surface of everything she does for our team.
Sharon is the definition of a team player—supporting customer service at both locations, assisting purchasing, helping HR with new hires and interviews, coordinating company activities, and always stepping up wherever needed. Her dedication and willingness to go above and beyond make a difference every single day.

Big appreciation for Ron, who recently went above and beyond to protect our customers and our quality standards! When he spotted a customer specification that was out of the ordinary with concern that it could cause complications, he didn’t just let it slide—he stopped the run, brought it to management’s attention, and helped get it resolved without impacting lead-time or quality!
Thanks to Ron’s attention to detail and quick action, we ensured the customer got exactly what they needed. His exact words were “I’m just doing my job” and said it with a big smile on his face! This is the kind of dedication that keeps PPI running strong!!!!!

🚀 Another Milestone at PPI! 🚀
We’re excited to share that our next Century Tech Bag Machine has officially arrived! This new addition marks the latest in our ongoing series of upgrades, and we couldn’t be happier with how the previous machines have been performing. They’ve already helped us increase efficiency, quality, and flexibility, and we’re eager to keep building on these improvements.
The best is yet to come as we continue to push the envelope and deliver even more top-notch solutions to our customers!

Annual Sales Meeting
We kicked off our sales meeting with a little team bonding over bowling and bocce, where we learned two important things:

🏆 A little competition makes everything more fun.
After a few strikes (and a lot of gutter balls), we got down to business—reviewing 2024 and mapping out an even stronger 2025. Safe to say, our sales game is sharper than our bowling game.

⏳ February Poll Results: Snack Situation!
In February’s poll, Burgers & Fries came out on top with 12 votes, proving it’s the ultimate snack combo. Following that, Chips & Dip and Peanut Butter & Chocolate tied with 3 and 2 votes respectively, while Coffee & Donuts also made an appearance with 2 votes. A couple of unique choices, including Coffee and Cookies and Oreo Ice Cream & French Fries, each got 1 vote, alongside 2 “Other” responses. It’s clear, the classics rule the snack world!
